The Senior Advisor provides leadership for the innovative and dynamic program in Climate Change Initiatives within Conservation International. The program is responsible for providing scientific and technical support to field programs in the design and implementation of multiple-benefit, land-use based climate change Mitigation activities, building regional and partner capacity in climate change mitigation, and providing high-level support to emerging national REDD programs. The Senior Advisor is responsible for leading the development of a diverse and ambitious portfolio of forest carbon projects in 12 countries, and providing timely scientific and technical support to project design, implementation and marketing.
